Using a heavy duty straitjacket , Zendini faced almost certain death in front of hundreds of awestruck onlookers as his rope burned through , but Zendini pulled it off with just seconds to spare !
ZENDINI performed Houdini's original death trap escape "The Milk Churn Escape" ,
live on television , on the anniversary of Houdini's death , as a tribute to him ,
and was also invited to perform the very same escape live on stage at the
London Palladium , to a stunned full house .
